Overview
Songkick is looking for a gifted Interaction Designer to become a core member of our small but extremely talented team. You will be a key member of the product design team.
Salary & Start Date

Responsibilities
* Determine a product’s mandate, feature set, and business requirements
* Contribute to the development of new product interfaces, feature sets, and information flows
* Work with Production, Product Development, Design to optimize existing products and templates
* Contribute to the design of user testing / fieldwork and analysis of results
* Develop user personas, scenarios of use, interaction models
* Create detailed wireframes, story boards, mock-ups, functional prototypes, user flows, and presentations to effectively illustrate interfaces, ideas and architecture
* Document feature behavior in loving, painstaking detail
* Collaborate with teammates to ensure that your solutions survive the development process
What We're Looking For
* 2+ years experience in a similar position at a rapidly evolving company.
* Proven, hands-on ability to apply the methodologies of interaction design to software development.
* Proven ability to multi-task.
* Solid writing and visual communication skills.
* Familiarity with usability heuristics and relevant HCI literature.
* Someone who demonstrably keeps abreast of best-practices for user interaction and design.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Excellent analytical ability.
* Familiarity with usability methodologies.
* A love of live music (a big plus.)
* Knowledge of Visio or other tool for generating wireframes and behavior specifications.
* Experience designing for mobile web, iPhone or Android.
